So ist es der jungen Rennsportfahrerin Jackie Weiss ergangen, der kurz vor der Profikarriere der wichtigste Partner/Sponsor abgesprungen war. Aus dieser tiefen Enttäuschung wieder heraus zu kommen, ist der schwierigste Part im Leben. Und genau hier, will ELA mit „This Time Sister“ Mut machen!

Eigentlich eine Motivation für jedermann, den wir alle kennen solche Situationen, in dem man von jetzt auf gleich in ein Tief gerissen wird.„Lebe deinen Traum, gib niemals auf“ Hinfallen, aufstehen, weitermachen. Denn genau jetzt ist es an der Zeit: This Time Sister, we can make it! YES WE CAN!

“I Want More” is what rock lady ELA from EBC ROXX said when the “Winners” album was finished. Now, in 2011 this is going to happen. They are going to hit the race tracks and festival stages. For that occasion the band specially recruited top class musicians like drummer Mike Matthes (Iron Angel among others) and “Master On Keyboard” Axel Mackenrott (Masterplan among others) to join them.The LIVE SHOWS 2011 are being set up at the moment and there is every reason to get excited!

Surely, some will ask “what exactly is an EBC ROXX LIVE SHOW that is entitled “FEEL THE SPIRIT OF ROCK’N’RACING”? What exactly should we imagine?

“Of course it’s finest ROCK and the ultimate PARTY” explains Tony Carey. Along the lines: “Long Live Rock’n’Roll”. And it’s no surprise that EBC ROXX along with their own songs from the “WINNER” album have also picked a few gems from the old Carey/Blackmore (Rainbow) days. Tony Carey: We don’t just want to rock the stage we want the audience to be involved, too. So you’ve got to have a few catchy tunes that are familiar to both young and old.”

J.R. Blackmore describes the SPIRIT as follows: “Energy, adrenalin, excitement and moments that will make the skin crawl – all of which can be experienced at a rock concert as well as at a race. With the lyrics of the “WINNER” album tracks we want our fans to feel the excitement that is going on at a race! Musically it is quite obvious that we are going into the direction we grew up with, which is familiar to us, which guided us which we have always liked. Why try out new experiments when that sort of music has been and still is the best around. It is the combination of our LIVE SHOW that is NEW. We are working with two different types of vocals which works out really well especially in a live situation. Since the SHOW also has a special theme to it we will include a few visual specials and highlights, too.And in addition to that there will also be some sounds that differ from a classic rock show. What we want to do is present a Rock & Racing party.”

ELA is currently working very closely with a bunch of creative people who as she says “are meant to add a special input. We formed our spirit in a particular way, we gave it a body which we’re still forming. The stage set, too, will have to match this spirit. We will be using all sorts of different images. We want to create good results and excitement in order to capture the audience and get them into the spirit. And of course we want to make their skin crawl. I would be very happy if the audience ended up saying what I said when we finished the album: WE WANT MORE!!!”
